As most of you know, our days, to the forthcoming convention in Nebraska at Omaha on July 1-4th, 2005, are numbered.
That being said, I would like each of us (especially those in the U.S) to do the following prior to arrival:
Ensure that your state financial report (annual contribution and relief fund) are handy and reportable at the meeting;
Check your flight schedule;
Report your arrival to our host in Nebraska;
Take a bus ride if air flight is unaffordable;
Come with suggestions on how to appropriate our “Relief Fund”; and most importantly
Encourage all of your state-mates/members to attend.
Furthermore, I am appealing to all ADF officials to pass the very message to their respective states. More so, I would like both financial secretary and secretaries of information to make more phone calls as meeting draw near. Santino Bol, Santino Dut, Angelo Magok--- Let the phone ring!
In short, let’s all work hard to make this year’s meeting an historical one. Our theme reads: “Unity and Development deserve our Collective Efforts”.
It is both my pleasure and moral obligation to perform duties as circumstances dictate. It is our collective responsibility to serve Ayat when and if occasions call for our inputs.
