To: North Bare El Ghazel State and Southern Sudan governments, Aweil Community and Youth Association in North America and elsewhere,
On behalf of Sudanese Catholic Community and Churches (Rochester, Buffalo, Utica and Syracuse) and fellow Christians in New York, with permission from: Kuc M. Kuc- Sudanese Catholic Community Coordinator and Fr. Dr. Darious, Senior Director, and Alls. We are here to send this letter of condolences to all people in Aweil community and Sudan as whole for the lost of Maj. Gen Santo Ayang, the Hero. We were so deeply sorry and shocked to hear the horrible news. What a great man we lost! The hero we will never see again. So humble, nice and patient, and brave. This is a rare combination to see with his great intellectual achievements. His braveness and patriotic of standing firmly at war to complete his mission, by accepting sufferings and pains and fought for the rights of his beloved people and to protect his motherland, May God reward him for his implausible protection and complete mission has done to his country. He was so outreaching to us when he stood and fought for our rights and concern to open the future of our generation. His hero, the man who commits and known to his remarkable bravery or who has shown great love to his country, strong leader with admirable quality, will never be seen again. What a pain and shock! May grace, courage and hope set upon his family to comfort them in this mournful and agonizing time. May Almighty Father blesses, welcome him and be seated on his right hand. May he receive great loves we send him in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen!

Aweil in particular and the South Sudan in general has lost her towering national figure, whose legacy is worthy of emulation. His is a well-led life and every minute of it is ought to be cherished.
