Dear Discussants, Iam sorrow and deeply sorry to learnt this morning from Valentino Achak Deng that Uztaz Gar passed away this week in Tonji as he was assigned there as solider and current in rank of General. The details of death are still yet known just to alert you that Gar Arou [ Known Gar Choki] passed away this Christmas which lost many Aweil sons and daughters infact this is wrong time for Gen. Gar to died God could have grant him few days and die after X.Mas if death were known. Gar Arou is known for entertainment and friends to all ages he doesn't make himself expensive to any ages despite being young and his agemates and all sex he consider equal opportunity and share the very little has with them. Gar choki is partriotic and proud of his people, his death will leave great gap is Southern Sudan and Aweil in particular. In All in all however, all things are possible in God eyes, henceforth I ask almighty God to bless and put his souls in his right hand. Regards. Dave

This year is a bad year for entire state of Aweil. We lost so many important people like Mwalimu Gar. It is God's gave us Mwalimu Gar and took him away in other way. May his soul R.I. P. Amen.
Dear Dave, I really feel sorry for what is happening in Aweil children and what has happened to Gar in particular, I remember when I was in Juba Uztas Atiik Thiep brought the body of someone bearing such name from Lanya. and I was regret to hear Atiik sharing this sad news with us. Please could this be the very Gar or the one you said happened in Tonj?
